Ready to bring your vision to life? We’re at your service with patterned acid-etched glass. If you’re looking for bird-friendly patterning, you may prefer our AviProtek® bird-friendly acid-etched glass.
Standard Walker Textures® finishes such as Opaque, Satin, Velour, and Satinlite, etch the entire glass sheet with a consistent, uniform texture. Patterned acid-etched glass, by contrast, features a custom, camera-ready design composed of distinct shapes and forms, such as stripes, geometric patterns, mosaics, and more. This level of customization gives architects and designers the freedom to create a distinctive visual identity and a lasting signature for their projects.
Custom patterns One-Tone or Etch on Clear can be paired with Solarban® low-emissivity coatings from Vitro Glass on surface 2 just like the McMaster University – Peter George Center for Living and Learning Building project.
Yes, there are a few limitations to consider, starting with the maximum overall sheet size of 94 ½” × 128 ½”.
